It really looks like that we did a good job with ArduCopter and it's design. People do like a lot of it's design and versatility which is naturally good. There has been spend countless numbers of hours on it's design and I hope that some day it will pay it self back.

There was rather ok sales for those and now that we have reopened our store at jDrones we hope that this success will continue.

Welcome to my Arduino pages

Latelly I have been involved a lot with MCU's especially Arduino's Atmel ATMega based MCU's. They are nice small microcontrollers that can do wonderfull things.

Users can create everything from simple led blinkers all the way to high intelligent artificial robots with these small microchips.

mainly I do use Atmel ATMega328P based chips because there is enough IO pins, memory and computing power. Checkout Arduinio MCU link on this page for more information about ATMega328P

Last week I have been really busy with my new "toys". I have been exploring world of Arduino MCU's (µC) and close range ZigBee networks. And I can say that Arduino MCU's have been giving a lot to hobby people and others. They are quite cheap MCU's but still really poverfull.

Back on old days I did play with PIC chips but on that time there was not good enough SDK kits around so development was kinda slow. Now there are a lot kits to all MCU's

About week ago I got my first shipments of stuff from various suppliers around world. I ordered RC Controllers, ATMega MCU's from Atmel, XBee and other ZigBee units, Brushles engines and powercontrollers.

A lot i'd say... it's like on a christmas time when I opened all those boxes :)

From here it's good to continue my building project. I should have flying device in 1 month or so.

Back to the basics.....

Another nice project arises. When I was young I did play a lot with electronics and robotics. So now it's a great time to start building my own hovering device.

Hovering microcopter scene has been evolving a lot on past few years due powerfull microcontrollers and sensors, now it's is fairly easy to create totally automatic flying "toy" which looks like a helicopter but it's not. It has 3 - 12 electric motors and they all are facing up.

Time to expand my R/C toys, many of my friend know that I have big collection of R/C Helicopters and been playing with all type of R/C toys basically all my life. Back on my childhood I did play with R/C planes too but somehow I forget those for 20+ years.

Don't DO IT...

If you are a heavy user, Do not upgrade to Snow Leopard. It is just too much. In first time of my life I am really disapointed to Apple products. This new OS destroyed totally my way of working and now most of my days, I just try to find correct window among tenths or hundreds of windows that I have open on my desktops.

Indoor RTLS

Many people already know that I'm currently working on indoor tracking business along with my hosting service and other internet consultancy services. I find this Real-Time Location Service (RTLS) really fun and cool. Yes I know that many of you already start thinking "Oh hell another big prother watches you thingy". True it is definetly that and only that.

 Looks like Romanian hackers are on the move again...
All my systems around world are getting a lot vulnerability scans and they are using those romanian made libwww-perl and other "Toata dragostea mea pentu diavola" scanners.
 
"Toata dragostea mea pentru diavola" is romanian language and means "All my love for devil girl".
 

Lately I have been doing a lot on areas of locating people especially inside building. Currently working with few quite big projects to create location aware services for Thai people here in Thailand, the land of smiles.

Ekahau who is a Finnish company has nice products as Ekahau Positioning Engine and then the Tags. Me and my company Parisian are now deeply involved on many of these location services.
